About Us

ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.

As part of this contract, Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provide defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients.

You will develop and maintain patient care plans, liaise with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team to provide co-ordinated patient management, provide assessment of patients and co-ordinate outpatient and inpatient treatments.

This role involves a high level of administrative work, so while experience in settings like a Primary Medical Centre, GP Clinic, or Outpatient Department is beneficial, it's not essential.

• To be successful in this role, you will have :
• The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
• Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Minimum of 12 months Post Graduate experience within the last 5 years in an acute care, primary health care, or military setting (or part-time equivalent).
• Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.

About Gaza Ridge Health Centre

The Gaza Ridge Health Centre is located on Gaza Ridge South at Bandiana near Wodonga.

The Albury Wodonga Military Area consists of 3 barracks and is home to the Army's Logistic Training Centre, Joint Logistics Unit Victoria and Schooling in various areas.

This is a large base providing services to over 5000 Defence Force members.

The health centre provides primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care.

There is also a 20-bed low dependency ward which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The standard operating hours are 07 : 30 – 15 : 30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
