The Air Mobility Solutions business is a global leader in Air Traffic Management (ATM) and in the emerging Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM), as well as in the Digital Aviation market.

Thales Australia's Airspace Mobility Solutions business is also a Centre of Excellence of the global business line in the Thales Group. The Centre of Excellence is evolving the discipline management to master ongoing developments and prepare the future in improving its competitiveness, customer and team satisfaction. In this context, product / project solutions maturity and architecture are key enablers to ensure a high operational, functional and technical maturity of the deployed systems. Digital aspects of solutions and engineering environment are also key enablers to the discipline transformation.

The Airspace Mobility Solutions business in Melbourne hosts approximately 520 employees with a majority of highly skilled engineers. The Digital & Data Services Product Owner position is based in Melbourne's World Trade Centre on a flexible working arrangement.

• RESPONSIBILITIES
• Contribute to the strategy and product roadmap alignment to strategic goals
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
• Estimating and Planning Engineering Environment feature backlog and development for the product Actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful team completion of release / sprint goals
• Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
• Supporting co-engineering activities with other disciplines (System, Software and Hardware & Infrastructure)
• Support the Projects in their migration to the new Engineering Environment solution

• QUALIFICATIONS & ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
• University Degree in Electrical or Software / Hardware Engineering or equivalent
• Experience working within a large international organisation and complex project environment
• Experience in an Agile culture and know Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean frameworks
• Have knowledge of software engineering environment in a Cloud environment
