Ferdydurke is a small intimate, loft style venue based in the CBD. We are part of a hospitality group that has run successful venues for almost 20 years, Ferdydurke has operated for 10 of those. We offer great professional development and continuously try to help with career growth and ensure our staff stay motivated and interested in what they are doing.
We are looking for someone with a passion for the industry, that wants to be part of a team where their ideas matter. The Assistant Venue Manager plays a huge role in the day to day running of the venue, and constantly improving the experience for patrons.
You will work closely with the Venue Manager, driving the venue and managing the team. Strong beverage knowledge is a must as you will be assisting in menu development and staff training.
You will also work closely with the Marketing Co-ordinator and Music Booker on the delivery of events and marketing content.
We ensure our staff have a roster that allows work-life balance. The role is diverse and you will work both day and night shifts. This is an opportunity to join a great team where you can be a part of the venues personality and identity.
