Delivery And Collections Driver

St George Recyclers is looking for a new driver to join our collections team.

This position is for shifts Monday to Friday 6am Starts

MUST HAVE A FULL NSW HEAVY DRIVERS LIC (LR MINIMUM)

The job involves driving our Isuzu trucks around Sydney to exchange our Blue Bins (240L wheelie bins with blue lids) and collect bags of bottles and cans from both residential properties and businesses.

• This is not a sit on your bum all day driving job. This job is physical. There is lifting involved. This job involves diving to an area, and then getting out to load a bin, then to the next job 2-5 minutes until the job list is complete
• In saying the above, our best drivers have been ladies aged 50+)

We employ dispatch software that optimizes the drivers schedule for the most economical route, removing the need for the driver to plan their route.

Our trucks are fitted with GPS tracking to monitor times and driving compliance.

What we require from you

We have a strict no smoking in vehicle policy. Preference will be given to applicants who indicate they are a non-smoker. And vehicles have GPS tracking.
