APS6 Graphic Designer

2 month Labour Hire Contract

The Web, Publishing and Data Visualisation Unit (WPDVU) is looking for a very capable and experienced digital designer who is comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced multi-disciplinary team environment.

Duties Use Creative Cloud software (Illustrator and InDesign is a must) to produce assets for media and communications. Perform background research and meet with collaborators to plan out delivery of artefacts. Perform pre-flights / quality assurance to make sure documents are suitable for print and web. Build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships. Provide administrative support by managing and prioritising a backlog of tasks, and regularly check in with stakeholders to deliver progress and manage updates to copy. Key Capabilities Demonstrated experience in functional graphic design, excellent attention to detail, brand management and turning ideas into proof-of-concepts. Demonstrated attention to detail and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise one's workload and escalate issues when required. Good communication skills including the ability to communicate with a variety of clients. Demonstrated ability to identify potential issues and work with clients to resolve issues effectively. Sound interpersonal skills, including the ability to work within, and contribute to a team. Relevant qualifications in design will be highly regarded. Requirements Australian Citizenship Apply Now
