Asd Communication Officers

We are looking for a number of passionate, results-oriented and engaged communication professionals experienced with :

• campaigns,
• social media,
• events,
• strategic communications, and / or
• internal communications

The Department requires people with strong integrity and a mix of specialist skills, adaptability, imagination, resilience and creativity to support them in achieving their strategic objectives.

The branch is responsible for the strategic management of the Department's public profile, identifying, developing and promoting opportunities, and ensuring the quality and consistency of messaging across a range of platforms.

The communication teams support initiatives and promote key enterprise-level projects. We do this using a range of channels including stakeholder engagement, digital platforms and social media, events, and corporate communications.

Our aim is to ensure the functions of the Department are well understood, recognised and respected across the broader community.

• Duties of the various roles include
• Providing specialist advice to stakeholders on the design, development and implementation of a range of internal and external communication products and activities.
• Providing high quality, effective and timely communication products as part of a closely-knit and cohesive team.
• Creating content for a variety of channels including social media, electronic direct mail (eDM), media, events, web and publications.

We are seeking experienced strategic thinkers and communication specialists.

• Must be an Australian citizen and hold a minimum baseline security clearance.
