YOUR ROLE Join our Air & Ocean division as an experienced Air Export Coordinator at Banksmeadow NSW. You will manage outbound airfreight shipments from booking to invoicing, ensuring compliance with GDP, Dangerous Goods, and aviation security standards, while maximizing consolidation efficiency and customer satisfaction.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Negotiate spot rates and secure carrier space, updating system rate modulesBuild consolidations and manage HAWB / MAWB documentationLodge export declarations and aviation security paperwork according to RACA standardsPrepare Dangerous Goods documentation and escalate non-compliance issuesCoordinate temperature-sensitive and pharmaceutical shipments under GDP protocolsVerify charges, manage accruals, and issue customer invoicesProvide proactive status updates and service recovery communicationsSupport audits and maintain accurate digital records for complianceWHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in airfreight export operations and a strong understanding of IATA DGR and export compliance. Additionally, you should have :
Completion of Year 12 (vocational qualification in logistics desirable)IATA Dangerous Goods certification, and ASIC or willingness to obtain itStrong CargoWise skills, including use of Rate Manager and Freight TrackerAdvanced knowledge of Incoterms, RACA, and chain-of-custody complianceExperience with high-value, AOG, perishables, or pharma cargoExcellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skillsApplicants must provide proof of work rights and professional referees. Progressed candidates will undergo a medical assessment and police check.
