You are a smart and experienced Instructional Designer (or Technical Writer open to expanding your skills into instructional design) looking for versatile work at a globally growing software company You are motivated by challenging work and achievable professional goals You want to contribute your ideas and make decisions in a dynamic team environment You want to be part of a team guided by fairness and integrity that extends to co-workers, customers, partners and the wider community You want to work with a business that values and supports an integrated-life-approach to employment You want excellent benefits and salary structure Here's what we need from you 3- 5 years' experience in a similar role e.g. developing technical Help / knowledgebase articles, technical user guides, learning resources (software simulation / screencasts, video-based learning, technical webinars, virtual classrooms, e-learning courses, instructor-led courses). Background in writing and editing, with an eye for detail when it comes to grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency and adherence to an organisation's documentation standards Ability to integrate adult learning theory and instructional design methodology into an appropriate mix of delivery media Skills in online learning development and associated technologies (e.g. SCORM; Learning Management Systems, Camtasia, Articulate 360 - especially Rise and Storyline) is preferred Skills in Help authoring tools (e.g. Madcap Flare) is preferred Degree or tertiary qualifications in Instructional Design, Training & Assessment, Technical Writing, Content Development is preferred Ability to work and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders The fine print of this gig Your will report to the Learning Manager and be based at our Perth office in Australia. Your role will be to help the Learning Solutions team to meet its strategic objectives by contributing to the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of learning resources that are fit for the target audience. Learning resources may include Help and Knowledge Base articles, technical user guides, videos, technical simulations, quizzes, e-learning courses, webinars, materials for instructor-led courses (e.g. PowerPoints, instructor guides, worked examples, model answers, handouts, assignments) etc. The target audience includes customers / industry partners / employees who use / manage / support / implement acQuire's products acQuire fast facts acQuire provides geoscientific data management software and services so customers can make profitable business decisions using data assets they trust. We work with the world's leading organizations, delivering by helping them manage their mining and environmental data assets, in a smarter, more streamlined manner.
