The Position
The technical writer / administrator will provide support across Capital Projects in writing and editing technical documents, including manuals, reports and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
The technical writer will provide support to the Capital Projects team in
Writing and editing technical documents, editing manuals, reports and procedures etcCreating new company templatesCustodian for the company's content templatesAssures content for the right formats including the appropriate use of logos on internally generated content as well as external contractors / EPCM contentMeet with engineers, functional project managers to understand their processes and provide support in documenting the technical or procedural documentation as neededGather feedback from content owners / custodians, stakeholders and users to improve on technical documents formats and quality of content presentationIs able to create or convert Word documents to PDF formsProvide support to the writing and maintaining of document control documentation as requiredWork Experience / Technical Skill Requirements
High proficiency with Adobe Pro or the suite of Adobe lifecycle products for the creation of content and forms.Has a strong customer focus and can work and manage stakeholders effectively.Good understanding of document control processesAbility to edit and proofread documents and reports including technical reportsHigh proficiency with Microsoft office suite or related softwareGood working knowledge of Sharepoint, in particular with the file management (lists and files)Education / Qualification Requirements
