The Technical Writer is a newly created opportunity in our Future Energy Renewable Project Operational Readiness team based at our Perth CBD office.
Key responsibilities of the role includeThe Technical writer drives the creation of a documentation methodology and framework and maintains proper methodology for purposes of consistency and efficiency.Interpret, analyse & produce technical documentation for site assets following Process Safety & Asset Management risk management principles.Reviewing, creating, publishing and managing Future Energy safety critical documentation which contains a vital risk management element - Safe Work Instructions, Station Instructions, Plant Operating Instructions and Maintenance Procedures essential to ensure appropriate risk management for workers to carry out their day-to-day tasks safely and to control associated processesWork collaboratively with plant SMEs to gather technical information from site assets and lead the review and approval process for all site technical documentation including management of change.Research technical information relating to the development of detailed step by step instructions for the maintenance and operation of plant and equipmentWhat you'll bringStrong technical writing skills and heavy industry experienceBachelor's Degree in English or equivalent qualification3-5 years in a heavy industry, mining or engineering environmentExtensive experience architecting complex site documents and documentation sets, information design and structured authorising documents.The ability to learn complex drafting and engineering concepts quickly and explain with clarity and technical accuracy.What we offerWorking for an employer of choice also means you will enjoy :
