Apprentice Refrigeration Mechanic

Airpro Mechanical is a well-established, family-owned company based in Clarkson, WA, specializing in HVAC and mechanical services.We are seeking eager Apprentices to join our team due to continued growth.Reporting to the Service / Project Manager, your role will involve servicing, maintaining, and occasionally installing commercial and residential air-conditioning and mechanical systems.

You will rotate between the service and projects departments, gaining a well-rounded apprenticeship.

Work in Northwest WA will be required during projects.The ideal candidate is self-motivated, competent, enthusiastic, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Good communication skills are essential.An apprentice refrigeration mechanic works under a licensed mechanic to learn skills necessary to become fully qualified.

Key responsibilities include : Assisting in installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems.Diagnosing and troubleshooting system problems.Gaining hands-on experience with tools and equipment.Reading technical manuals and schematics.Following safety procedures with refrigerants and hazardous materials.Understanding local codes and regulations.Communicating effectively with clients and team members.Attending training sessions to enhance skills.Requirements : Right to work in AustraliaAustralian Manual Driver's LicenceWhite CardApprenticeships typically last 3-4 years, combining on-the-job training with classroom instruction.
