What you'll be doing

Based at our Balranald Multipurpose facility, we have a fantastic opportunity for a team focused Cook to provide an effective and efficient catering service including providing meals for patients and aged care residents, and catering for functions while observing the principles of Nutrition and Health Standards. Your day will include :

• Provide an effective and efficient catering service including providing meals for patients and aged care residents
• Ensure equipment and chemicals are used correctly and the preparation of all cooking requirements such as meats, poultry, fish, cakes, pastries and sweets are prepared within the Work Health and Safety Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures and Far West LHD Food Safety and Nutrition Program.
• Ensure completion of daily food safety compliance forms and meal statistics.
• Participate in daily cleaning of work areas and maintain a strict code of hygiene in the work area to comply with Infection Control policy and procedures.
