ABOUT THE ROLE As a Barista / Cafe All-Rounder, you will create positive customer experiences through excellent service and quality coffee. The role is based at HMAS Harman, MacDonald Ave, Jerrabomberra.

We are hiring a hospitality superstar on a casual basis to work Monday-Friday from 8am-1pm.

You will be paid AUD 32.06 per hour, aligned with the Level 1 Barista / Cafe All Rounder rate under the Fast Food Industry Award 2010, depending on age.

Responsibilities include :

Consistently delivering excellent customer serviceManaging safety and hygiene standardsResponding to customer queries and requestsABOUT YOU You are a proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You understand the operations of a food and beverage outlet and seek to improve performance for the benefit of customers and the business.

You remain calm under pressure, can work independently or in a team, and enjoy having fun at work. You have :

At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in high-volume cafes or fast food outletsExcellent face-to-face customer service and communication skillsBarista and sandwich hand experienceKnowledge of food handling and hygiene standards, with a current Food Safety CertificateExperience with POS systems, EFTPOS, and cash handlingReliability and ability to work early mornings, nights, and weekendsHigh grooming and presentation standardsNote : Due to security requirements, candidates must be Australian Citizens and willing to undergo a Police Check, which we will cover.
