This Retail Leadership opportunity is perfect for someone who’s passionate about supporting store performance and growing their career. AsAssistant Concession Manager, you’ll work closely with the Concession Manager and Retail Brand Manager to help drive the performance of our Sportscraft & JAG concession pads in Myer. You'll play a hands-on role across sales, people support, visual merchandising, rostering and customer experience.
As an Assistant Concession Manager , you will act as a brand ambassador for all our brands, supporting and inspiring your team to provide exceptional and personalised customer service, working 28.25 hours per week across Sunday to Thursday.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supporting sales and rankings across all brands and pads, constantly monitoring, tracking and responding
- Personally drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service to lead by example
- Support the team to ensure KPIs and sales targets are met
- Commercial awareness of customer profile, product lines and competitor activity
- Use available data and reports to support decision-making for the business and the customer
2. Build strong working relationships and communicate regularly with Myer store and floor management teams
Work collaboratively with other concessions to ensure the best customer experienceSupport the Concession Manager in influencing Myer store, floor and operations management relationships to ensure brands are prioritised and well respected by the entire Myer business3. Team support and day-to-day leadership
Support the team in delivering store operations excellence through effective stock management and loss prevention activitiesAssist in attracting, engaging and retaining talent, helping build team capabilityPromote a safe place to work for team members and all store visitors, with a focus on wellbeingSupport a performance culture through encouraging leadershipAssist with recruitment, induction and training as requiredSupport coaching and development of team members through regular feedback and performance conversationsPromote team member retention and succession planningRole model APG & Co values to create and consistently build a team experience that encourages learning, ownership and shared success4. Deliver exceptional customer experience through on brand teams & product knowledge
Support coaching and provide feedback to the team on product knowledge and delivering a customer-led experienceMaintain an up to date level of product knowledge ensuring you share your passion and insights with your customers and your teamAssist in maintaining grooming standards to brand expectationsUnderstand the brand and business strategy and support the team play their part in deliveringAssist in the resolution of customer queries and complaints5. Support visual merchandising and pad presentation in line with each brand’s standard
Pads and product to be merchandised and styled according to brand guidelines and VM directionAware of top sellers and manage stock levelsEnsure promotional and tactical merchandising and ticketing is completed as per directives and on time for all brands6. Operations, planning and administration
