Salary Range : $65,937-$70,832 + Attractive Superannuation
The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) exists to meet the Nation's commitment to care for our veteran and defence service community - the men and women who have served Australia in time of war and conflict as well as peacetime. This commitment extends to the families of these individuals. We do this through programs of care, compensation, commemoration and Defence support services. DVA is both a policy and service delivery agency. The Client Contact Officer is a pivotal role in providing support to the veteran community. You will be the navigator for the veteran community to access all available supports. This role offers rewarding and diverse employment. No day is the same and everyday you will go home knowing that you have made a positive difference to someone.
A merit pool will be established that may be used to fill similar positions (ongoing and non-ongoing) within the next 18 months.
