APS 5 - Communications and Engagement Officer

The Role

Digital Communication and Engagement Directorate within the Defence Digital Group (DDG) is key to supporting the delivery and coordination of strategic internal communications and events. The area directly supports the Chief Information Officer and DDG senior leaders in developing and delivering targeted communication to contribute to Departmental strategic outcomes. We are seeking an energetic APS 5 Communications and Engagement Officer to :

• Support the development and delivery of internal communication products and activities.
• Develop and maintain strong networks to facilitate development and delivery of effective, targeted and timely communication and event activities.
• Provide administration support to the team including managing the communications inbox and providing advice on communication issues for the Group.
• Draft internal communications products including intranet articles and talking points.
