- The Role
We have an exciting new role for a Product Owner to join our Hospital Care team. This is a key role in driving success of Kyra through the planning and execution of the product lifecycle. This role will engage with existing and potential clients to determine solutions which are in line with their needs, are aligned to industry standard and fit Telstra Health's strategic product roadmap.
- Key Accountabilities
- Providing product-level vision and direction to the development teams and stakeholders by creating high quality business requirements.
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of groomed user stories to refine.
- Plan and prioritise the product backlog into epics and features for the development of the product.
- Define product vision, road-map and opportunities to deliver product outcomes more effectively.
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
- Partner with the Iteration Manager to perform iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
- Under the leadership of the Product Manager, create and maintain a product backlog according to business value.
- Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
- Work with the implementation team to provide release documentation.
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release / Iteration Goals.
- Incorporate research on market, the users, and competitors into prioritising features so the roadmap for the product is delivered in line with business objectives.
- Keep abreast with Agile best practices and new trends.
- Provide technical support as a product SME to the Sales Team where required.
- What you'll bring
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Product Owner in a software development environment, preferably with B2B SaaS solutions
- Previous experience with software implementations and / or project management
- Previous experience in working with B2B customers and prospects to document business requirements
- Previous experience in and Agile software development environment
- Pre-sales support experience is highly desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in a business related or technology discipline
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Project Management qualifications is highly desirable
