Field Assistant

Musgrave Minerals is a well-financed gold and base metals explorer focused on the discovery and development of ore deposits and requires an experienced Field Assistant to participate in advanced exploration / resource projects. Musgrave Minerals is led by an experienced management team with proven corporate and exploration success.

Reporting to the Senior Geologist / Exploration Manager, responsibilities include :

• Drill Core processing
• Sampling of RAB / AC / RC and Diamond drilling programs
• Site preparation and rehabilitation of drill pads. Qualified personnel will operate the Excavator and Loader during earthmoving operations
• Participation in mapping, geochemical, geophysical, drilling programs and field safety.
• Managing and maintaining field equipment
• Job Requirements
• Current right to live and work in Australia
• Manual C Class Driver's Licence
• Computer literacy
• Successful completion of a pre-employment Police Clearance, Medical and D&A screen
• Loader, Excavator and Forklift experience will be highly regarded

Additionally, you will need to be team orientated with strong people and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of vehicle maintenance.
