Disability Support Worker

Are you a compassionate and skilled professional with experience in handling challenging behavior? We are seeking dedicated male and female support workers to join our team around Brisbane North (Warner / Morayfield) and Brisbane South (Logan / Red Bank Plains)

• Responsibilities

Provide personalised support to individuals exhibiting challenging behavior.

Provide personalised support to individuals to access the community.

Provide personalised support to individuals to identify activities in the community.

Implement strategies to manage and de-escalate physical and verbal aggression.

Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals in your care.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans.

Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and progress.

Requirements

Proven experience in supporting individuals with challenging behavior.

Demonstrated ability to manage and respond effectively to physical and verbal aggression.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.

Relevant qualifications or certifications in support work or related fields are preferred.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
