The role of First Nations Community Engagement Specialist (Indigenous Identified) is accountable for the delivery of WorkCover's First Nations Strategy in partnership with other business areas. You'll play a pivotal role in inspiring our customers and stakeholders to support First Nations people, as well as fostering positive relationships and promoting collaboration between WorkCover Queensland and First Nations communities within the workers' compensation ecosystem and the wider community.
As an identified position, part of this role will involve significant interaction with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and their representatives across Queensland. Applicants will need to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander society.
