Our client is a global leader in designing and building ships of the highest quality for demanding customers all over the world. For more than 140 years, they have earned the experience and expertise required to create vessels that meet virtually any set of individual wishes and different demands. Their Australian branch was established in 2018 to commence construction of 12 Offshore Patrol Vessels for the Royal Australian Navy over a 12 year period.

For this client and in cooperation with MTC & Executive Search GmbH, we are searching for a :

Production Coordinator (M / F / x)

In Perth / Australia

Tasks

• Support the Ship Management team in ensuring the Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs) are built and delivered on time and within budget and to expected quality standards
• Liaison with Production Coordinators / Liaison Engineers and Officers
• Coordination of the relevant subcontractors and Suppliers in respect to the schedule and building sequences.
• Participate in meetings with all relevant stakeholders and provide minutes of meeting.
• Ensure major activities are included in the Schedule and that the Project Management Office is kept informed.
• Expedite and escalate issues as they arise.
• Follow all relevant processes, engage and encourage all relevant stakeholder
• Support the Workplace Health Safety and Environment team as required
• Requirements
• Recognized qualifications (degree / diploma) in Engineering, Structural Fabrication or comparable qualification
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specification & technical data.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft office, in particular MS Excel.
• Strong work ethic, enthusiastic and conscientious with a flexible approach to your work
• Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Provide ideas to your to achieve goals
• Participate in process review meetings
