This role provides a unique chance for individuals interested in supporting and making a positive impact in the veteran community.
Key activities
Manage Strategic Project Management Office secretariat including :
- Organise meetings including : Program Boards, Enterprise Business Committees, Steering Groups and Working Groups.
- Develop agendas, collate meeting packs and draft meeting outcomes.
- Liaise with various stakeholders, including the Secretariat Committees, to coordinate the preparation of papers.
- Record and maintain the Actions and Decisions register
- Record and maintain stakeholder lists
- Monitor and update Forward Work Plan for sPMO.
- Assist with other duties as required including management of historical and RCDVS interim report recommendations, and benefits realisation.
- Familiarity of Defence Veterans environment
- Ability to work respectfully with a blended workforce (Military, civilian and contracted
- workforce)
- Develop and maintain positive, robust stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to conduct meetings online and in person
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Security clearance - Current Baseline
- Good understanding of record management
