Community Transport Driver

Alwyndor has multiple opportunities for professional, experienced individuals who have proven driving experience to transport our clients in the community.

• We are looking for people who...
• Are available to work Monday to Friday between 8- 6pm. Hours are flexible.
• Comfortable driving and assisting our elderly clients around.
• Available to work in the Southwestern metropolitan area
• Excellent comprehension of the English language both verbally and written
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport with elderly clients.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• A positive and nurturing attitude
• Duties Include
• Provide general transport to medical appointments, social and group outings, shopping trips and individual appointments
• Assist clients in and out of car if required
• Ensuring our clients feel safe, comfortable and happy
• To be considered for this role you will have...
• A current Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle that will pass a Vehicle Safety Checklist
• A current First Aid certificate or we can organise
• Previous experience working for the elderly preferred but not mandatory
• Comply with all mandatory vaccinations required by the government to work within the Aged Care sector including Influenza and Covid-19 vaccinations.
