- ABOUT THE ROLE
As the procurement specialist, you will be responsible for providing support in the area of tender execution and contract management, whilst being part of an amazing team. You will be given the freedom to manage your workload, work autonomously.
Duties include but not limited to :
- Research and identify potential suppliers, negotiate prices, and establish relationships with vendors.
- Purchase Order Processing.
- Track expenses related to purchasing of raw materials, components, and supplies and ensure that they remain within budgeted levels.
- Maintain records of purchase orders, delivery dates, and invoices for audit purposes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activity, inventory levels, and budget performance.
- Identify and resolve any issues that may arise in the procurement process, such as delayed delivery, incorrect orders, or quality issues with materials received.
- SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience within a Procurement / Logistics is a must
- Tender and contract negotiations experience
- Advance knowledge on Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding verbal and written communication
