We’re on the hunt for a passionate and capable Property Manager to join our growing team at REMAX Extreme Cannington . You’ll be managing your own tidy portfolio with the support of a well-resourced team – including an offshore admin crew, hands on BDM and a Head of Department who’s all about backing you up (not burning you out).
About the role
You’ll be the go-to person for your portfolio – managing tenancies, building relationships with landlords and tenants, and keeping everything ticking along like clockwork. The best part? No trust accounting, no after-hours calls, and no over-the-top admin .
What you'll be doing :
Delivering top-tier service to your landlords and tenants
Leasing, renewals, and keeping rents in line with the market
Managing bond inspections, vacates, insurance claims and maintenance
Communicating like a pro – written, verbal, and everything in between
Working closely with our BDM to grow the portfolio - home opens and leasing
Navigating the RTA like a legend
Keeping calm when things get hectic (because let’s be real – it’s property management!)
What we’re looking for :
Experience in residential property management is essential
Great communicator who can build strong relationships
Organised, reliable, and confident in your ability to manage a portfolio independently
Strong knowledge of WA tenancy legislation
Familiarity with Property Me, Tapi Inspection Express & IRE is a bonus
A team player with a great attitude and a sense of humour!
Things you WON’T have to deal with :
Trust accounting – we’ve got a dedicated Trust Accountant for that (bond invoices only to be entered by PM)
Business development (unless you want the $$$ incentives!)
After-hours calls – emergencies go to our Head of Department
Excessive admin – our offshore team handles the bulk of it
Must-haves :
Current WA Property Management Registration
Valid driver’s license
