Location : Docklands Melbourne

Salary Package : $35ph-$45ph Super

A leading organisation in its industry is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their high-performing team. Supporting over 3000 employees across multiple payroll cycles this role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment with exposure to various awards and superannuation arrangements.

Role Overview :

Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services while ensuring a high level of customer service to internal stakeholders. You will support the payroll function during a period of business consolidation managing end-to-end processes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities :

• Processing weekly and / or fortnightly payroll runs in Preceda
• Accurately calculating and processing adjustments terminations redundancies and bonus / commission payments
• Setting up new employees processing casual timesheets and managing leave reconciliations
• Preparing payroll data using Excel and ensuring data integrity
• Downloading and actioning error logs escalating issues where needed
• Managing end-of-pay processes including GL coding and superannuation reconciliations
• Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to improve payroll systems and processes
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee data in the payroll system
