The position will play a pivotal role within the Finance and Regulatory Reporting team and be at the forefront of ensuring compliance with our key Regulators data reporting obligations (primarily APRA and ASIC).The Senior Manager, Regulatory Reporting will lead the funds APRA Superannuation Data reporting framework by driving the identification, assessment, and integration of changes, to embed new and improved reporting processes, procedures, and frameworks.In this key position you will be responsible for the continual development of the APRA Superannuation Data reporting framework, including working with our project office and SMEs to implement Phase II APRA SDT reporting policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with Reporting Standards, regulator guidance and other lodgement obligations.You will provide oversight of the production of reporting forms by the form owners to ensure on-time submission and ongoing delivery of Quarterly, Annual and Ad-hoc APRA returns (including being the business SME for the APRA Connect portal) whilst managing and communicating with appropriate data owners including the Funds Administrator, Custodian, and internal business units.To be successful ideally you will have 5+ years of experience working in a reporting function for a superannuation trustee office, or 5+ years of experience as a Consultant / Auditor focusing on regulatory reporting in financial services.You will possess extremely strong stakeholder management skills at all levels and from all backgrounds i.e., business stakeholders, technical areas, internal management etc coupled with strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.You will have the ability to proactively identify and assist with implementation of process improvements across finance and operating areas relating to APRA data reporting with demonstrated experience in finance projects and finance change in the Superannuation industry is highly desirable.Belong at CbusWe value difference, and embrace people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, gender identities, abilities and thinking styles.
