We are currently looking for experienced Site Safety Coordinators to join us across our WA operations.

Responsibilities & Duties :
Train and assess employees and associated personnel to comply with the requirements of the project safety / environmental management planConduct and coordinate investigations into all personnel incidents at siteAssist with management of the site injury management system to ensure successful injury management outcomesComplete organisational, site-specific safety and environmental reporting requirements as required by the SEQT ManagerConduct risk assessments and assist with the development of site-specific proceduresProvide leadership, coaching and support to the site underground trainers regarding WHS management activitiesEnsure that organisational policies are implemented and adhered to for their areas of responsibility and develop where appropriate to ensure consistent performance and managementRequirements :
Working knowledge of SEQT management systems, plans, standards, programs, and how these are appliedExperience in mining, or mine equipment maintenanceWorking knowledge of management systems (INX, Moodle, PowerBi) would be advantagesCertificate IV in WHSTAE 40116 Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentMinimum 3 years of operational underground experience in all facets of the underground mining cycle and equipmentCurrent Shotfirers license (Desirable)Current dangerous goods security cardCurrent first aid certificateDemonstrated use of Microsoft Office software : Outlook, Excel, WordDemonstrated use of safety database systems (INX Desirable)National Police ClearanceMust have the right to work in AustraliaCurrent and Valid Australian Manual Drivers LicencePreferred candidate to reside in WAThe successful candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening prior to an Offer of Employment being made.
