The Opportunity

Due to the well-deserved retirement of our current Team Leader, Council offers this opportunity for a skilled and safety focused professional to oversee the operation and maintenance of Council’s water and wastewater treatment plants / systems. This is a hands-on leadership role at the heart of Hinchinbrook Shire Council’s Utility Services team. As the Water and Sewerage Treatment Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring and compliance of the region’s water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations. You’ll ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality water and sewerage services to the community, lead a team of operators, and oversee environmental and public health compliance. This is a rewarding opportunity to apply your technical expertise and leadership skills in a role critical to community wellbeing.

General Salary Information :

Level 4 Year 1 Foreman $88,179 per annum and $44.63 per hour including allowances plus superannuation.
