On behalf of our client, we are in search for a key stakeholder position for a leading manufacturer and supplier of construction materials, in the capacity of State Sales Manager Queensland.
Our client is known nationally for its cutting-edge technology and innovation, speed to market, and push for operational excellence. This key leadership position has the mandate to lead the sales activities across the civil construction sector, build new business, and deliver sustained growth for our market presence within the region.
You will work collaboratively with the Regional General Manager QLD in leading market analysis, owning the customer journey, building the team to bring about a strong point of differentiation, and delivering sustained growth.
Key responsibilities : Drive the development and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy with a hands-on approach, aligning with the company's strategic plan.Provide on-the-ground sales leadership for the Queensland business, fostering a culture of success and sustained growth.Develop and implement strategies and actions to maximise revenue and profitability.Develop pricing proposals, submit quotes, and follow up on leads to close sales.Achieve acquisition and retention targets through persuasive and effective negotiations, and excellence in customer performance.Build and maintain strong relationships across the civil construction industry.Ensure that CRM and regular sales reporting are completed accurately, efficiently, and within expected timeframes.Work in collaboration with the Regional Manager in identifying and securing the needed key success pillars within the market to underpin long-term growth.About You Proven sales leader with a demonstrable track record with a minimum of 10 years plus experience, ready for the next career progression.Having construction materials experience would be a distinct advantage.Well networked and highly regarded within the civil construction market segment.Proven track record as a sales hunter with an equal level of capability to foster and maintain business relationships.High level of commercial acumen, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated experience in people leadership and mentoring would be advantageous.If you are seeking to secure a long-term opportunity with growth and development, please submit your CV online, or contact Oscar Calleja at 0409 098 011.
