About The Role : Our client is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Geotechnical Engineering Intern to join their dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for hands-on experience in the field of geotechnical engineering, working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of projects across Sydney.

Roles And Responsibilities : Assist with fieldwork activities including site investigations, soil sampling, and geotechnical testing under the guidance of senior engineers. Conduct data analysis and interpretation of geotechnical data collected during site investigations. Assist in the preparation of geotechnical reports, including the documentation of findings, analysis, and recommendations. Support the design and implementation of geotechnical solutions for various engineering projects. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical considerations into project planning and design. Participate in site visits and meetings with clients to gain exposure to real-world engineering challenges and solutions. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times. Requirements : Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. Strong academic background with coursework in soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical analysis. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
