The fixed-term employment register aims to provide the Magistrates Court with a pool of suitable applicants for roles such as Administration Officer or Court Clerk on a casual or fixed-term basis.

Previous training, experience, and qualifications in a court environment are not required. Flexible working hours will be considered, but availability during court sittings is essential.

Applications are open for consideration for casual or fixed-term employment up to 12 months. These are not current vacancies but potential future opportunities.

Available Positions : Administration Officer Salary range : $66,766 - $71,857 per annum / pro rata (General Stream Band 2)

Responsibilities include customer service, administrative and clerical duties such as handling enquiries, scheduling court matters, registering documents, and recording outcomes. Success requires resilience, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, aligned with the Court's values of independence, integrity, and respect.

Court Operations Support Officer Salary range : $74,783 - $80,835 per annum / pro rata (General Stream Band 3)

This role involves coordinating and recording court proceedings, working closely with magistrates and court users, and performing related administrative tasks. Attributes include resilience, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a busy setting, reflecting Court values.

The Head of State Service requires that nominated candidates pass pre-employment checks, including assessments for :
