• Job Summary

We are currently seeking Female Support Professionals to meet specific client requests for personal care and support. This preference is based on the individual needs and comfort of our client, and we are committed to providing the best possible care tailored to each person's requirements.

This client requires 2 : 1 Support with 24 / 7 care with shifts running :

• 8am-4pm
• 8 : 30am-2 : 30pm
• 2 : 30pm-8 : 30pm
• 4pm-10pm
• 10pm-8am (sleepover)
• Key Responsibilities
• Floor Hoist Transfers
• Provide 2 : 1 support using a shower chair and power wheelchair.
• Mealtime Management
• Support with a soft textured modified diet.
• Medication Management
• Full assistance three times daily.
• Behavioral Support
• Implement Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) strategies to redirect verbal and physical aggression.
• Community Access
• Assist with transportation in a modified disability vehicle
• Required Skills
• Strong communication skills
• Empathy and compassion
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team
• Knowledge of social care practices and procedures
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide calm responses to a range of emotional behaviours
• Experience working with complex mental health needs
• Exceptional observation and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in English
• Qualifications
• Certificated III Individual Support or equivalent
• MAYBO training preferred
• Experience in hoisting / manual handling preferred
• Current Paid NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Paid Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates
• Valid Queensland drivers licence
• Access to your own vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
