We're Hiring : Social Worker or Mental health Worker (Male preferred) (Locum – 3-Month Remote Contract / Permanent Full time available QLD)
Are you a passionate and dedicated Social Worker looking for a rewarding short-term opportunity? We are seeking a Social Worker or mental health worker to join our team full-time for three months, providing vital mental health support to young people.
About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting indigenous community by providing mental health and social support services. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care, helping young people build resilience and improve their well-being.
What You’ll Do :
Provide mental health support and case management to young people
Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans
Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
Advocate for young people and connect them with relevant support services
Contribute to ongoing service improvement and best-practice initiatives

Who You Are :
Qualified Social Worker with relevant tertiary qualifications (Male preferred)
Mental health worker with relevant qualifications (Male preferred)
Eligible for AASW membership or AHPRA registration (if applicable)
Experience working in mental health, youth services, or social work settings
Strong communication and case management skills
A passion for supporting young people and improving mental health outcomes
