Take the Leap into Your Future As an Apprentice at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you'll partake in a four-year learning program that combines theoretical education facilitated by a Registered Training Organisation (such as TAFE) with practical on-the-job training.

Role in Action Efficiency Enforcer : Provide a maintenance service to Mill departments and assist in the assessment of asset performance.Fix-It Force : Participate in and support preventative maintenance programs including basic troubleshooting, fault finding, reporting, installation, monitoring and repairs as required.Accuracy in Action : Ensure accuracy of data entry such as work orders, permits, reporting and timesheets.
Contribute to the development and updating of safe operating procedures.Collaboration Crew : Work collaboratively in team environments.
Wilmar offers a range of apprenticeships which are set to commence in December 2025 including Certificate III Electrotechnology (Electrician), Certificate III Engineering - Fabrication trade (Boilermaker), Certificate III Engineering - Mechanical trade (Fitter & Turner) and Certificate III Engineering - Mechanical trade (Diesel Fitter).
Your Winning Combination Successful candidates are required to have a minimum sound achievement in Math and English.
Be able to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
Have introductory computer skills, and be able to commute to work and vocational training.
Electrical Trade candidates are required to have a minimum of General Mathematics (with High to Very High Achievement) or Mathematical Methods or Specialist Math and or Physics.
