We are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Records Clerk to join our team at Mount Gambier & Districts Health Service. In this role, you will provide efficient, effective, and customer-focused clerical and information services within the Medical Records Department. You’ll also offer essential administrative backup support to the Emergency Department, Main Reception / Switchboard, and across the organisation as required.
As the first point of contact for many patients and staff, your professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail will be key to your success in this fast-paced hospital environment.
Key responsibilities include :
Providing high-quality medical records management and data entry
Supporting front-line services such as reception and the emergency department
Assisting with administrative tasks and maintaining confidentiality of patient records
