We have an opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst to support a multi-year Defence program to deliver an enterprise Health Knowledge Management System. This capability will enable better clinical decision making for the ADF
Job DescriptionYour New RoleTasks include :
Support data migration strategy and execution planLeading the establishment of Data Management activities and processesLiaise with Project Managers, Solution Architect / Engineers in the scoping and estimating for new initiativesLeading the establishment of DQM, MDM, and data synchronisation processesDeveloping and establishing best practice information management standards and guidelinesFacilitate monitoring and rectification of identified data quality, governance, or security issuesIdentifying potential risks and issues, and mitigations to resolve themInvestigating data quality issues / errors / flaws in the current setup and identify ways to improve systems performance and efficiency by suggesting best practices in line with the organisations' processes and system deployment standardsComplying with applicable standards, processes and governanceSupport Data Management team and work closely with development teams, other technical stakeholders and external vendorsThis role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a minimum NV-1 level Australian security clearance._QualificationsAbout You and What You'll BringCoupled with your Information Management skills, education and program experience, you will demonstrate a pro-active approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve the company's objectives. You will also have :
Data Modelling ExperienceWorking knowledge of SQL and experience producing quality reports using tools such as Microsoft PowerBI, Qlik, and TableauDemonstrable experience supporting large complex data migrationsProven experience in the Information Management domain including reporting and analysis, information lifecycle management, and data governanceDesirable) Experience with MDM and DQM products from TIBCO, Alteryx and MicrosoftA track record of working on complex projectsAt least 2 years' experience extracting, transforming, and analysing raw data and turning this into intelligence, ideally in a healthcare settingExcellent communication skills and a history of successful customers engagementAbility to consult directly with customers and offer strategic advice as well as consulting experience within agile environmentsAbility to work under a high level of autonomyDemonstrated ability to operate at a consistently high level in isolation and as a team player.Experience working with Agile products such as Jira and ConfluenceDesirable) Experience with Health specific data interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR is desirableAdditional Information
