  • The Position :

    Genus’ Recruitment Team is growing, and we are seeking a  Recruitment Program Lead  to oversee and lead our recruitment strategy.

    Our Recruitment team specialises in coordinating the high-volume recruitment of blue and white-collar personnel for our companies. Reporting to the General Manager, the  Recruitment Program Lead's  responsibilities will include :

    • Supervise the recruitment team’s workflows, assist with white-collar recruitment.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with candidates, clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Liaise with staff, clients and third parties on resourcing requirements for current and upcoming projects and attend resourcing planning meetings.
    • Advertise vacancies, source candidates and maintain an extensive candidate database.
    • Shortlist, screen, and reference check applicants as required.
    • Review and maintain the recruitment database to optimise workflow.
    • Building Talent Pipelines and undertaking targeted white-collar recruitment.
    • Oversee and manage the internal recruitment team and key recruitment activities.
    • Complete timely and accurate reporting.
    • Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience :

    • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, recruitment function overseeing a team.
    • Previous experience in recruitment of blue- and white-collar roles, preferably within the construction industry.
    • Demonstrated experience managing a candidate database and use of recruitment software, such as JobAdder.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage competing priorities, with strong adherence to deadlines.
    • Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised, as required.
    • High level of internet and PC proficiency, including use of Microsoft Office Suite and Recruitment Software / s.
    • Experience in the mining or contracting sector.
    • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition and successful headhunting activities.
