Your Next Role
The Mechanical Fitter's mission is to safely contribute to the Preventative Maintenance Strategy that Hyne deploys for its operational assets. This includes actively working towards eliminating asset failures, but also to effectively and efficiently execute corrective works when failures do occur. You will do this through effective implementation of the sites proactive mechanical maintenance strategy and will provide timely and cost-effective maintenance of plant to ensure Reliable Assets which are operationally available when required.

A 'be of service' attitude and operating manner is shown in everything that you are involved in to support quality working relationships and deliverables. Preventative and corrective scheduled work is completed per weekly or outage schedule; we are here to serve our customers.
Maintenance and production teams are supported to identify and plan preventative and corrective tasks that improve the safety, reliability and functionality of the plant.
Maintenance and inspection work ensure mechanical safety, asset reliability, materials and spare parts availability, condition and operating capacity.

You will be based at our plant in Tumbarumba, NSW. This idyllic country town offers affordable living and the opportunity to be a part of a supportive community of people and is situated within 2 hours drive of Wagga Wagga & Albury.
About you
Trade qualifications as a fitter within a similar industry.
Demonstrated experience in technical service delivery, planning and customer relations, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Experience in lean manufacturing is beneficial, particularly problem-solving methodologies.
Experience using Pronto as a CMMS system advantageous.
First Aid Certificate or ability to acquire.
