Assistant Centre Manager - Leisure Centre

You will be a key member of our Centre Leadership Team, delivering results for Yawa Aquatic Centre and supporting the community.

Focus on helping deliver centre-wide results and lead by example. Opportunity to develop a range of skills and capabilities across all centre functions including customer experience, promoting our products, learn to swim programs, health and safety compliance, and pool operations.

Background

• Bring your story from the Health, Fitness, Aquatics, Hospitality, Tourism, Retail or Business sectors
• Team leader or people manager to motivate and develop others
• Operating fitness equipment and / or pool equipment including plant rooms
• Experience in customer service and sales, and the ability to achieve sales
• Act with courtesy / professionalism to create customer experiences
• Flexibility, adaptability, resilience, and ability to accept feedback
• Understanding WHS and risk with the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations and Vic Health regulations

Essential qualifications

• Full time work rights in Australia
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Obtain a valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check
