• About the Opportunity

The Finance Officer plays a critical role in providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the finance team, ensuring smooth financial processes and exceptional client service.

This position is responsible for managing key financial activities across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes while maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and stakeholder communication.

• Key responsibilities will include
• Process creditor invoices, cheques, and electronic fund transfers (EFT)
• Review, verify, code, and match invoices with precision and attention to detail
• Respond to creditor and debtor inquiries efficiently
• Support daily bank reconciliation activities

This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organisational skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial administration and client service.

You will excel in collaborative team environments, displaying strong interpersonal skills that enable effective communication and seamless coordination across diverse stakeholder groups.

• Essential Criteria
• High level administrative skills set
• Strong Computer Literacy, MS Office experience and an ability to quickly learn new tech systems.
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Desirable
• Working towards or recently completed a degree in Accounting or similar.
