Base pay range A$65,000.00 / yr - A$75,000.00 / yrDirect message the job poster from FivecastReporting into our Senior Accountant and working closely with our Director of Finance & Operations, this role will be a mixture of owning the end-to-end payroll procedures for our global workforce and entry of financial transactions.This is a permanent position and we are open to either full time, part time 4 days per week or 9 days per fortnight.

It is an in office role based in Hutt street, Adelaide.ResponsibilitiesFortnightly processing of Australian, UK, & US accounts payableInvoicing and accounts receivablePreparation of Australian fortnightly payroll using Xero (approx.

120 employees)Submission of Australian super reporting obligations and paymentReview of US (twice monthly) and UK (monthly) payroll using Xero & Gusto (approx.

35 global employees)Preparation of Australian bank reconciliationsReporting & OperationsPreparation of monthly BASPreparation of payroll tax returns (SA, ACT, NSW, Vic)Preparation of adhoc reports on payroll, KPIs, budget holder, accounts payable, etc.Preparation of leave reporting for HRAssistance to staff with payroll and finance queriesManagement of the accounts internal mailbox and response to enquiriesManagement of accounts payable software (Zahara), establishing vendor set-ups and delegationsAssistance to accountant with stakeholder reporting, grant applications, preparation of FBT return and audit requirementsAssistance to accountant in month end tasksAssistance with process improvement implementationsESOP letters & Investor PacksABS SurveysSkills and experienceWell-developed IT skills in ExcelCertificates, degree or other qualifications in accounting or finance (desirable)Ability to problem-solve, suggest improvements and work as part of a teamExcellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and organisationWillingness to learn and be challengedAny experience in the below areas makes for a strong application : Entry level finance or accounting rolesAustralian payroll management (ideally in Xero) Seniority level Seniority level Entry level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Accounting / Auditing, Finance, and Administrative Industries Software DevelopmentReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Fivecast by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for "Finance Officer" roles.
