SA Fire and Emergency Services CommissionJob reference651534Location5035 - KESWICKJob statusLong Term ContractEligibilityOpen to EveryonePrimary Purpose of RoleManage the distribution of accounts for certification and approval by emergency services organisations.Identify and report late invoice payments to emergency services sector staff before late payment interest is attracted.Manage user access to financial systems, including Basware, ANZ Expense Manager System, Microsoft Financial Reporting System, Masterpiece and Local Funds Reporting System.Report and follow-up on outstanding ANZ purchase card statements and anomalous purchase card transactions.Support SA State Emergency Service and SA Country Fire Service volunteers in the use of the Local Funds Reporting System.Effectively perform the duties of the Local Funds Reporting System Administrator.Assist the end-of-month reporting process for the Financial Services team, including the management of the accrual process, board reports and secretarial support to the Emergency Services Sector Finance Meeting and Finance Forum.Research and analyse data, collected internally and externally to produce high level analysis to support investigations, reports and recommendations.Provide high-level financial advice to the staff and volunteers of the emergency services sector.Support the Manager Financial Services and Business Managers in relation to high-level agency budget processes and planning matters, year-end statutory financial reporting processes and preparation of ad hoc reports relating to expenses, major incident costs, compliance reporting with Treasurer's Instructions, accounting standards and other government financial management policies.Manage the relationship with Shared Services SA, including the provision of financial information to assist in their preparation of the Fringe Benefits Tax return, annual financial statements and other statutory reporting requirements.Review and develop financial policies and procedures for the emergency services sector.RemunerationASO476,561 - $80,256Special ConditionsEnquiriesKaren PrideauxPrincipal Financial ConsultantPh : (08) 8115 3933Application InstructionsApplicants are required to address the criteria outlined in the Application Guidelines document.
