We are currently recruiting a support worker (1 or 2 positions) to provide support for a 10-year-old autistic boy in South Melbourne (VIC3205). He needs daily living support (prompting tasks) and community participation support. You may need to work in accordance with the strategies placed by the behavioural therapist.
You will be required to work between 15 : 30~19 : 30 for 4-5 days in a week.
Experience in Autistic children is preferable. Driving reliable vehicle is preferable.

- POSITION OBJECTIVES
This position is responsible for supporting people with disabilities using best practice approaches, complying with relevant legislation, and reporting any known breaches to the line manager. The person fulfilling this role should understand the nature of risks, such as OH&S and client risks, and the importance of complying with service standards to ensure the highest possible quality of support. This position requires the ability to work independently and as a member of a team to coordinate quality service for all service users.
