Our Client is a well-known Tertiary Education provider located centrally in Sydney's CBD. They offer a fanastic workplace culture with flexiblity to work from home and whilst this is initially a temporary role, there is prospects for permanency down the track!
The position will see you providing advice, guidance and support across a full scope of HR matters ranging from operational support in HR processes to expert professional advice on complex ER and IR cases.
Key Accountabilities are as follows :
- Plan, conduct, advise and guide stakeholders on effective operational implementation of Staff Enterprise Agreement (EA) and other policies / awards in compliance with state and federal legislative requirements.
- Provide adept and concise advice on performance management and talent management strategies, ensuring compliance with the EA, legislative requirements, best practice and the strategic and operational goals.
- Collaborate with the P&C team and Managers to provide high quality information and data analysis to provide insights that contribute to effective decision-making, people management solutions and continuous improvements.
- Contribute to and implement a range of HR projects, plans, tools, processes and systems to respond to future change management challenges and ensure contemporaneous industrial relations and the wider staff community engagement in workplace issues.
- Manage and facilitate the effective resolution of general employee relations matters, conflict, discipline matters, unsatisfactory performance and any case work on employment related issues.
To be successful for this role you will have :
Postgraduate tertiary qualifications (or progress towards) in Human Resources or related disciplineHuman resources business partnering experience, ideally within a complex organisationDemonstrated experience in providing expert advice and guidance on a range of HR issues and the ability to work in a complex, ambiguous and changing environment.Excellent analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills with the ability to conceptualise, develop and review initiatives that contributes to the provision of excellent HR solutions.Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management and other stakeholders that build a network of influence and enable you to effectively negotiate outcomes.This is a temporary assignment available for immediate commencement for 9 -12 months with the potential of becoming a permanent position. Standard hours of work are 9.00am - 5.00pm with a minimum 30-minute lunch break. A guide on the temp hourly rate is $60.00 - $70.00 + Super.
