Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced

  • Geospatial Analyst
  • to develop mapping products and perform administrative and research duties.
  • About the role
  • Supporting teams to deliver the department's Data and Insights work program
  • Participating in succession planning, cross-skilling and knowledge sharing to develop team members
  • Developing internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, providing appropriate advice and support
  • Undertake appropriate procedural, administrative and service-related tasks that support business activities or project management
  • Analyse, integrate and evaluate a range of information and assess the likelihood of impacts and outcomes
  • Conduct research and analysis to provide expert advice and interpretation within technical or professional area, including preparing relevant strategic advice where appropriate
  • Ideally you will have
  • Prior experience within Geospatial roles with highly transferrable skills
  • Ability to anticipate and be responsive of the team environment
  • Great stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks of equal priority
  • Demonstrated analytical and research skills, and attention to detail
  • Desirable, but not essential
  • 5 years' experience with Geospatial is desired
