This hands-on role is crucial for ensuring safe, efficient production and delivering high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.You will have key responsibility in : Work, Health and Safety (WH&S) requirements are being met and delivered in line with Tyrecycle's WH&S Management System and relevant Emergency plansProduction scheduling to maximise output whilst minimising overtime and ensuring vehicle loading times are within operating standardsContainer movement scheduling and procurement effectiveness to ensure products are delivered within required timeframesRegularly review production processes and make recommendations and implement new processes to improve quality, efficiency, productivity and profitability of operationsEnsure preventative maintenance and repairs of all plant and equipment to minimise downtimeEffectively manage the performance of your team including training of new staff and regular compliance training for existing staffOversee the administrative function ensuring production and management reporting requirements are metSkills and experience : 5 years experience in a similar factory manufacturing environmentDemonstrated knowledge and experience in WH&SExperience managing operational costs, ability to prioritise and achieve resultsExperience working within a customer focussed environmentValid driver's licenceExposure to the recycling industryRelevant bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or maintenance, highly regardedExperience with LEAN manufacturing techniquesWho we are : Tyrecycle, is ResourceCo's tyre recycling business and proudly, Australia's leading tyre recycler.
