Support Worker

Our Support Workers are rostered on a range of Cahoots camps and programs, working with Kids, Teens and Adults.

Mandatory requirements :

• Applicants must be available during school holidays including upcoming school holidays in April.
• Must attend program or camp experiences, as a volunteer, before commencing training as a staff member.

As a Support Worker, your role will involve working directly with our participants, providing duty of care on our camps and programs, managing complex situations, demonstrating excellent judgment and decision-making abilities and supporting the attainment of participants' NDIS objectives. Your main objective is to guarantee the overall welfare, safety, and growth of individuals with disabilities during their camp or program involvement. Additionally, you will offer support to volunteers, and students.
