About the role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Environmental Manager to join our Group Safety, Acacia Ridge based Team on a permanent fulltime position.
Reporting to the Group Environmental Manager you will lead environmental compliance and risk management activities across a wide footprint within Australia and New Zealand, supporting operational teams in managing waste, water, and energy while driving visibility and standardisation across a diverse and multi-geography organisation.
Key Responsibilities : Lead the development and implementation of environmental programs and initiatives across AU / NZ to reduce risk and drive sustainable outcomes.Ensure environmental compliance and regulatory reporting across all business units.Oversee accurate environmental data capture, analysis, and reporting for internal performance tracking and external disclosures, including annual sustainability reports.Provide strong leadership in environmental risk management and build a culture of continual improvement and accountability.Develop and deliver targeted awareness and capability-building programs for operational leaders and site teams.Act as the key liaison for regulatory bodies and lead / support investigations, audits, and non-conformance management.Why Sime?
