About The Role

As a result of Georgiou's significant growth, we are now seeking to strengthen our project team through the appointment of an experienced Environmental Manager to join our Engineering team.

What You're Good At

Previous experience in environmental management in civil construction or infrastructure environmentTertiary qualification in Environmental Science or Environmental EngineeringUnderstanding of WA environmental guidelines and legislationExperience in the implementation of Main Roads Technical SpecificationsExperience in managing a team of environmental personnel including environmental specialistsSomeone who has the ability to build effective working relationships onsite and with clients

What You'll Do

Provide leadership and mentoring to the project team to support them in the execution of the Company's Environmental Policy and realisation of objectivesProvide specialist advice on environmental aspects such as noise, vibration, air quality, water quality, soil management, heritage, sustainability and ecologyApply for and manage any required environmental permits and approvalsProvide project team with awareness of legal compliance requirementsRecord all relevant environmental data and compile reports for both internal and external stakeholdersLead and support the junior members of the environmental teamDevelop strong internal and external relationships and build company branding by collaborating with clients, government, community organizations, and employeesReview all incidents and provide feedback as necessary to stakeholdersSupport the Company's internal auditing requirements
